Service Description
ICE Minnesota Help is a community-driven platform that provides transparency around ICE detention activities in Minnesota. We enable community members to report detention sightings, access resources, and connect with support services. We are a volunteer-run community project and not a legal services provider.
User Responsibilities
When using our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in all reports
- Only submit reports in good faith based on direct knowledge or reliable sources
- Respect the privacy and dignity of individuals mentioned in reports
- Not use the platform for harassment, discrimination, or unlawful purposes
- Not interfere with the operation or security of the platform
Report Submission Agreement
By submitting a report, you affirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You have a legitimate basis for the information (direct witness, family member, legal representative, etc.)
- You understand that reports are reviewed by moderators before publication
- You consent to being contacted via the email provided for verification purposes
- You understand that knowingly submitting false information may result in removal of your report
- For "public" visibility reports, you have verified the information through official sources or are authorized to share the full name
Prohibited Conduct
You may not use our platform to:
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious reports
- Harass, stalk, or threaten any individual
- Impersonate law enforcement, legal representatives, or other officials
- Collect personal information of other users without consent
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restricted areas
- Use automated systems to submit reports or scrape data
- Engage in any activity that could harm affected individuals or their families
Content Moderation
All submitted reports are reviewed by volunteer moderators before being published. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any report at our sole discretion. Reports may be marked as "unconfirmed," "confirmed," "released," "false report," or "duplicate" based on verification. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted information.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ICE Minnesota Help is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information on our platform. We are a community resource, not a legal authority. Information should not be relied upon as legal advice. Always consult with qualified legal professionals for legal matters.
Limitation of Liability
